My Pinball Arcade Reviews Part 2

It's time for part 2 of my Pinball Arcade reviews. Enjoy.

Central Park

This classic table from 1966 features smaller than normal flippers and 7 outlanes. It only gets 3 stars because it's a pain in the rump to get a decent score on unless you're really good.

The Champion Pub

This interesting table from 1998 is centered around a bar that doubles as a boxing ring and training facility. You even get to go a few with such interesting characters as Dan Under, Knuckles O'Brian, and Crazy Bob (Who unless I'm mistaken is featured in the table Junk Yard which i'll be reviewing later.) 4 1/2 stars for this bad boy.

Cirqus Voltaire

Ever dream of running away and joining the circus? Well in Cirqus Voltaire, a table from 1997 you can do just that. several features including Video Mode where you must use the flipper buttons to make a frog jump over obstacles and a Defeat The Ringmaster mode in which you must hit the Ringmaster 5 times with your ball make this a show not to be missed. 5 stars and a bag of peanuts for this gem.

Class Of 1812

This ghostly classic from 1991 has players trying to revive Zom-B and his high school friends from the class of 1812. 2 ball multiball and other goodies await thos brave enough to play this classic. 4 stars for this hauntingly good game.

Creature From The Black Lagoon

This classic from 1992 combines the thrills and chills of a Drive-In monster movie with the fun of a first date. Lots of really cool modes to keep players interested. I remember playing this one at my local bowling alley. Awesome game. Definitely worth 5 stars.

Cue Ball Wizard

This oddity from 1992 combines billiards with a wild west theme. Chalk up cowboy as you make your way through the numerous modes and shots. 4 stars for this little round-up.

Diner

This arcade classic from 1990 features all the sights sounds flash and flare of a real diner. Players must serve five hungry and impatient customers in order to activate Dine Time Jackpot. Even the skill shot is based on the old style table top juke boxes. Definitely 5 stars for this one. Order Up!!!

Dr. Dude

This dude-a-licious table from 1990 features awesome game play and neat stuff like the mixmaster which spins the ball around and awesome speech. Players must work their way up the dude-o-meter from Plain Dude to Super Dude. Catch the ray on this 4 1/2 star ride.

El Dorado: City Of Gold

I don't know how to describe this araity from 1984. It's like a cheap knock off of Indiana Jones or something. Don't get me wrong it's alright and stuff but one play and you'll know why only 500 of these tables exist. 3 1/2 stars.

Elvira And The Party Monsters

This classic from 1989 is the first of two tables featuring the famed Mistress Of The Dark. With such ghoulish features as The Monster Slide and 3 ball multiball this game delivers the goods monster style. Throw in the fact that Elvira is a huge pinball fan and you're assured a top notch game. I'll be reviewing the sequel Scared Stiff in a later post. Definatertly a solid 5 stars.
